Renewing their creative partnership with Hepple Spirits Company, Timorous Beasties developed a collection of illustrated labels to adorn the newly embossed glass bottles for the distillery’s premium range. Building on a shared commitment to craft and innovation, the collaboration introduced a refined visual identity across five spirits: Hepple Gin, Hepple Douglas Fir Vodka, Hepple Wheat Vodka, Hepple Aquavit and Hepple Juniper Aged.
Hand illustrated by co-founder Alistair McAuley, the new designs draw on the wild Northumbrian landscape that defines Hepple’s identity. Intricate botanical studies and detailed natural forms are woven into both the labels and the glass itself, creating a tactile, embossed pattern that elevates each bottle into a sculptural object.
As with previous collaborations, the creative approach balanced untamed nature with the precision of distillation. The embossed glass captures the spirit of the land, from juniper and fir to native flora, while the new label designs bring clarity and distinction to each expression within the growing portfolio.
The result is a cohesive yet characterful collection: bottles that celebrate Hepple’s pioneering methods and deep connection to place, while standing confidently in the premium spirits market.
