The Art of the Game: Celebrating Edinburgh and Our Growing Partnership with Street Soccer Scotland

We celebrated one year of our Edinburgh Showroom with The Art of the Game, highlighting our growing partnership with Street Soccer Scotland through panels, screen-printing t-shirts, and community spirit.

This summer, we marked a special milestone: one year of our Edinburgh Showroom with The Art of the Game, a lively celebration in partnership with Street Soccer Scotland.

Timed perfectly with the buzz of Edinburgh’s festival season, the event brought together creativity, conversation, and community spirit. Guests enjoyed two inspiring panel sessions featuring Street Soccer’s founder David Duke, alongside Beasties' co-founders Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons, who shared insights into design, collaboration, and the power of football as a force for change.

In true Timorous Beasties style, the day also had a creative twist: guests rolled up their sleeves to screen-print one-of-a-kind Timorous x Street Soccer t-shirts, made even better by the glorious Scottish sunshine. With pies and beers to keep the energy high, the atmosphere was one of energy, laughter, and connection.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the event so memorable.

A Growing Partnership

Timorous Beasties is proud to partner with Street Soccer Scotland, a charity harnessing the power of football to support individuals affected by social exclusion, homelessness, and mental health challenges.

Earlier this year, we contributed to their Women Inspired Gala Lunch in Glasgow, which celebrates women in sport and highlights the charity’s ongoing impact, by creating a series of hand‑printed, co‑branded table runners.

Our partnership now extends into our Edinburgh showroom, where visitors can find a co-branded KitBack donation box designed in signature Beasties style. This drop-off point for pre-loved football kit supports Street Soccer’s latest social enterprise, giving old kit a new purpose while empowering local communities.

This is only the beginning. Watch this space for more exciting collaborations to come, where art, design, and community meet on and off the pitch.
