Adapting Timorous Beasties’ bold, detailed print for the GEEK Derby meant rethinking how the pattern would work on a shoe. The scale and placement of the moth design were carefully considered so that it sits naturally across the shape of the footwear.
Both Tracey Neuls and Timorous Beasties have a distinctive approach to design, with a shared interest in doing things a little differently. The collaboration brings their two worlds together, combining Timorous Beasties’ signature prints with Tracey Neuls’ considered, unconventional footwear.
The result is a shoe that doesn’t follow the rules — bringing together pattern, personality and a slightly unexpected take on everyday design.
