The Arts and Craft House: Then and Now

This exhibition traces the origins, legacy and enduring appeal of the historic Arts & Crafts Movement and its fascination with the creation of the home, from William Morris to modern day contemporary designers.

Through the work and ideas of John Ruskin and William Morris, the exhibition will explore how subsequent generations of designers created new ways of living and working. Timorous Beasties were invited to provide a contemporary comparison to a Ruskin display and historic painting through a series of 'Golden Oriole' panels.

The exhibition continues until September 13th 2015 at Compton Verney.
