We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join the TB team in our Glasgow Showroom.

About the Role

Working Hours : Saturday 9:45am-5:15pm (Plus occasional holiday cover)

Salary dependant on experience

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join the TB team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for design, colour, and interiors who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Showroom Sales Assistant, you will:

  • Welcome and assist retail and trade customers, creating a warm and professional showroom experience.
  • Provide expert advice on our products, including technical information, design guidance, and pricing.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs and helping them find the right solutions.
  • Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to quotation and order placement.
  • Arrange and coordinate customer sample requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and assist with administrative tasks as required.
  • Help keep showroom clean, organised, well-presented, and fully stocked.
  • Open and close the showroom, ensuring all security procedures are followed and the premises are presented to a high standard each day.
  • Work confidently and responsibly when managing the showroom independently.
  • Represent the TB brand professionally at all times and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a retail, showroom, or customer service environment.
  • A genuine interest in interiors, colour, design, or home improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident, friendly approach.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence using computer systems and email.
  • The confidence and reliability to work independently and manage the showroom when working alone.
  • The ability to take responsibility for opening and locking up the showroom, following company procedures.
  • A proactive, reliable, and flexible attitude with a willingness to learn.
