Working closely with RPW Design, we created bespoke fabrics and artwork that bring the landscape indoors. A hand-printed velvet drape and digitally printed Treveira curtains adorn the Atrium Restaurant, where a jungle of seaweed escapes from a bed of rope – a nod to the nearby historic port.
From hand-printed velvets to site specific artwork, the collaboration between Timorous Beasties and RPW Design at The Fairmont Hotel certainly tells a story – one that belongs as much to the landscape as it does to the guests.
The reception area features an original artwork inspired by St Andrews’ landscape, reimagining familiar landmarks with a contemporary twist. In the lobby, our timeless Iguana fabric creeps across lavish armchairs, adding a playful and unexpected touch.
