Please note that the last day orders will be taken for any of our ‘Hand-Print’ products will be Friday the 9th of November 2018.
Last day orders for any of our other ‘Print to Order’ products will be Friday the 23rd of November 2018.
The last day for pre-Christmas WORLDWIDE deliveries for stock items will be Friday the 14th of December 2018.
The last day for pre-Christmas UK deliveries for stock items will be Thursday the 20th of December 2018.
Our studio will be closed from the 21st of December 2018 until the 7th of January 2019. No 'Print to Order' product orders will be processed during this time and the production date will start from the 7th of January.
Stock orders from this period will begin to be sent from the week beginning 7th of January. Please expect a delay due to the holiday backlog.
Express delivery service, costing £5.70, is available for on-line purchases of fabric,wallpaper and ceramics for all postcodes in Mainland England, Wales, Scotland (excluding Highlands & Islands) Delivery is free of charge on orders of £450 or over.
Express delivery service for cushions and lampshades to the above listed areas is charged at the following rates:-
1 Lampshade £9.90
2 Lampshades £16.50
3 Lampshades and over - Free of Charge
1 Cushion £7.50
2-3 Cushions £9.90
4 Cushions £13.50
5 Cushions and Over – Free of Charge
1-4 Cushion Covers (no pad) £5.70
Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man cannot be sent for express delivery and unfortunately can take up to 3 to 5 working days.
EU AND INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
EU and International delivery prices are calcuated at the point of sale through our courier company TNT. All quoted prices are in UK sterling.
Timorous Beasties is not liable for any import or custom duties that may occur in the process of shipping internationally.
Once an order is placed with our on-line shop it will be dispatched within 2 working days, unless the 'lead time' states otherwise. We operate a next day delivery for UK though this may vary depending on postcode and access. EU delivery is 2-3 days from dispatch. International delivery can be up to a week from dispatch. We shall not be liable for delays and/or failures in delivery if we cannot gain access to the property.
Please note: Our courier will need a signature for delivery. Please ensure that someone will be in at the delivery address you have supplied on the day specified. If no one is in, the courier will leave a card or send an email to notify you that they were unable to make the delivery. You will then have three days to contact the courier for redelivery. If you fail to contact the courier in the specified timeframe, they will then redirect the item back to our studio. If you require the item to be dispatched again after it has been returned to studio, you will be charged for packing and dispatching again.
Additional charges may apply for the storage of the products if the customer delays delivery, for more than three weeks after the estimated date for arrival. Delivery dates are not guaranteed but we will do our utmost to ensure goods are delivered within the stated date or soon afterwards. If you have not received your order within 7 days from placing your order please contact our customer service team at email@example.com to investigate the non-arrival.
When you receive your product please ensure that, colour, design and quantity is as expected before installation.
Please be aware that due to the ongoing issues with Russian customs clearance, we are currently unable to deliver to Russia.
Ceramics, Furniture and Lampshades cannot be delivered outside the UK.
Cushions cannot be delivered to Australia and New Zealand due to custom regulations on the feather pads. Please contact our showrooms to order cushions without pads.
RISK OF DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
We carry the risk of loss or damage to the products until you receive them. The products belong to you when you have received them and have paid us in full. If you return the products to us for any reason, they will become our property and be at our risk from the time we receive them.
We hope you will be delighted with your purchase. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied we are happy to offer a refund on all goods returned to us within 28 days from the dispatch of order provided they are in the original packaging (where applicable), unused and in a re-saleable condition. A restocking charge of 25% will apply on all cut to length and printed to order products, provided they are in resalable condition, unless agreed to be faulty.
We recommend customers order samples before purchasing goods. Images online are as accurate as possible to match the product but can differ to those shown.
When you buy online you have additional rights as a consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations (this applies to UK and European Union customer only). If you as the purchaser notify us in writing to the email address or returns address below, of your wish to return an item within 7 working days of receiving it, we will refund you for both the purchase price and the delivery charge. Please make sure you take reasonable care of the item whilst it is in your possession, and that it's returned to us unused.Please use one of the following methods when returning goods together with the returns slip provided.
