The Supreme Court

Client : Ministry of Justice

Date : July 2009

2009 marked an historic moment in British constitutional history when judicial authority was transferred from the House of Lords to a Supreme Court for the United Kingdom in the former Middlesex Guildhall on Parliament Square. As part of the refurbishment program of The Supreme Court’s new residence, Timorous Beasties were commissioned by Feilden and Mawson to design and produce drapes throughout the interior: sumptuous hand printed blue velvet, featuring the emblems of the four nations of the United Kingdom.
