In 2008, Timorous Beasties were commissioned by a private donator to design bespoke drapes for the main concert hall at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama (RSAMD) in Glasgow. 

The drapes are large scale, measuring 20 meters wide by 9 meters high. The design is Hand-printed onto velvet.

Timorous Beasties were faced with the problem of an uneven stage, and therefore designed the pattern so that it randomly grows up from the bottom in order to counteract the visibility of the uneven stage.
